Esthetics Program FAQ
A. Upon graduation, you will be eligible to apply for licensure in Montana. When your application has been approved, you will be scheduled to take the written test. The licensing process usually takes a maximum of two to four weeks.
Q. Do the teachers have real-life experience as estheticians?
A. Yes! All of our teachers have worked at spas for several years, and they have a wide variety of professional experience that they draw from to ensure that our program is relevant and up-to-date.
Q. What kind of products are used in the classroom?
A. We use two types of products. At the beginning of the program, students use a training product, provided by a commercial manufacturing company and consisting of very basic ingredients. The other is Glo Minerals, a natural product that is used in numerous high-end spas throughout the country. We use both makeup and skin care products manufactured by Glo Minerals. We also obtain and use samples provided by numerous other product companies.
Q. Do you teach microdermabrasion?
A. In Montana, an additional 50 hours of training are required in order to practice this technique. The school does not yet offer this training.
