Esthetics Program Costs and Financial Aid
| Now is the time to enroll in the Esthetics Program! Next class begins June 5, 2010. | ||
| For a limited time, we are offering a $500 tuition discount only to those students who enroll in the full program that begins in June 2010. We need several more students to meet our minimum number for the next class. The start date will be June 5, 2010. Classes will be held on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 5:30 to 9:20 p.m., Thursdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and every other Saturday (in addition to the Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday classes) in June, July and August. Classes will also be held every Saturday in September, October and November (except for Thanksgiving week), and there will be one Saturday class day in December. The program will end on December 16th. The tuition discount will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis, so call now if you're ready to take the first step toward becoming a professional esthetician. |

Payment Methods, Financial Aid and School Financing Option |
|
| Tuition, Books and Fees | When students pay the entire tuition during the first week of school, there is no interest charged. The student may pay all program costs by making monthly payments. Depending upon the amount of the student's first monthly payment, interest will be charged to the student. The school accepts cash, personal checks, money orders and the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. Health Works Institute provides financing for our esthetics students that is very similar to federal financial aid. Federal aid will not be available for the esthetics program until the spring of 2011, due to a delay on the part of the U.S. Department of Education. Since there is nothing we can do about this delay, we are offering the most generous financing program to our esthetics students that we have ever offered. This means that you will be allowed to take the entire program, receive your diploma, and apply for licensure without having to pay up front for the program. You will be supplied with all of your textbooks, products, uniform, etc., even if your monthly payments are low. Here's how it works: 1. The student completes a Personal Financial Statement showing income, expenses, and other relevant information. 2. The school will review the statement and run a credit check. 3. The school will negotiate with the student a realistic amount for the student to pay to the school while in the program. The minimum amount will be $50 per month. 4. The school will also negotiate the amount of monthly payments to be made once the student has graduated from the program and the number of years over which payments will be made. The maximum number of years is seven. 5. The interest rate for the payment plan will depend upon the amount that is paid during the program, and the number of years over which the student will make payments. 6. Before graduation, the school will review any changes that have occurred to the student's financial condition since enrolling in the program and make any necessary changes to the payment plan. Health Works cannot offer grants (free money) like Pell Grants. Please keep in mind that very few of our massage students typically qualify for Pell Grants, and most of our massage students use the federal loan program. The Health Works loan program has many of the benefits of federal loans. |
