Ruth Marion is the owner and director of Health Works Institute, Massage Therapy School. She has been involved in massage therapy education for twenty-two years, having served as the director of the Boulder College of Massage Therapy in Colorado from 1984 to 1994, chair and director of the Commission on Massage Therapy Accreditation from 1995 to 1996, and chair of the American Massage Therapy Association Council of Schools from 1991 to 1993. Ruth has a background in business management, in-depth knowledge of school administration, and a strong belief in the value of massage therapy. Ruth continues to contribute to the development of the profession while she focuses on the efficient operation of an educationally sound program.
Shelly Bunde earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Community Health Education from Montana State University-Bozeman in 1992. Her work experience includes serving as the Community Educator at a women’s health clinic, Assistant Director of the women’s center at Montana State University-Bozeman and the University of Minnesota and as a booking agent for a classical guitarist. Shelly enjoys receiving massages, visiting prairie habitats and she loves all forms of artistic expression. Shelly is the Secretary for Health Works Institute where she delights in serving students, faculty and the public.
Carol Morgan received a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish with an option in Business Administration in 2004 from Montana State University-Bozeman. Her work experience includes teaching Spanish at a local elementary school, serving as a Translator for the public schools, and working as a real estate Escrow Agent. She is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in accounting at Montana State University. A Bozeman native, Carol enjoys hiking, biking and skiing. She is the Financial Manager and Financial Aid Administrator for Health Works Institute, and our students benefit from her helpful and friendly attitude.
